The Areas We Cover
We're based at 1245 Carver Rd in Griffin, and most of our days are spent within a short drive of that address. East Griffin is about 2 miles out, Experiment sits at roughly 3 miles, and from there the circle widens to Hampton (9 mi), Milner (10 mi), Brooks and Zebulon (both around 11 mi), Locust Grove (12 mi), Meansville (13 mi), Lovejoy and Concord (14 mi), Jenkinsburg and Barnesville (15 mi), Bonanza (15 mi), Senoia and Irondale (17 mi), Jackson (18 mi), and Jonesboro at the far edge of our range, about 20 miles.
That's 17 named communities we work across, and the housing in most of them was built between 1948 and 2007, with a lot of it dating to the 1980s and 90s. That matters for the work itself - a door and opener installed when a subdivision went up in 1988 is going to need different parts than one from a house built in the 1960s. If you're not sure whether your town falls inside that range, call and ask. We'd rather tell you no up front than drive out and find the job is outside what makes sense for a same-day visit.
What Comes Next
When you call, we ask what the door is doing - won't open, won't close, makes noise going up, cable's off the drum, that kind of thing. A broken torsion spring, a bent track, or an opener that's stopped responding to the wall button are all things we can usually diagnose over the phone well enough to know what to bring.
We set a time to come look at it. On site, we check the springs, cables, rollers, tracks, and the opener itself before we say what needs doing. If it's a repair, we tell you what that repair runs before we start. If the door is old enough or far enough gone that replacement makes more sense than patching it again, we'll say that too - chasing a worn-out door with repair after repair isn't worth it past a certain point, and we won't pretend otherwise just to book another visit.
One limitation worth knowing up front: some opener parts and certain spring sizes aren't things we keep on every truck, so a repair that needs an uncommon part may take a return trip rather than getting fixed on the first stop. We'll tell you if that's the case as soon as we know.
Contacting Us
Call 1-770-230-5901 to reach us directly. We're located at 1245 Carver Rd, Griffin, GA 30224, and that's also where to send mail if you need a written estimate or invoice copy.
If you're calling about a door that won't close and you're worried about the garage sitting open, say so right away - we'll work that into the schedule ahead of routine maintenance calls. For anything that can wait a day or two, like a noisy roller or a slow-closing opener, the same number works fine; just let us know it's not urgent so we can plan the route sensibly.
We don't have an online booking form right now, so the phone is the fastest way to reach us. You can also find more about what we do on our home page.
Frequently asked questions
Do you come out to Jackson or Jonesboro?
Yes, both are within our service range - Jackson is about 18 miles from our Griffin location and Jonesboro about 20, which is close to the outer edge of where we schedule same-day visits. Call ahead so we can plan the route; for towns at that distance we may need to set a specific window rather than an immediate slot.
How old does my door have to be for you to work on it?
We don't have an age cutoff. A lot of the houses in this area were built between 1948 and 2007, with plenty from the 1980s and 90s, so we see a wide range of hardware. If a part is old enough that it's no longer made, we'll tell you that and talk through replacement options instead of guessing.
Can I get a price over the phone?
For common repairs like a broken spring or a worn opener, we can usually give you a reasonable range once you describe what the door is doing. A firm price comes after we look at it in person, since spring size, track condition, and opener age all affect the final number.
